The study results, which lasted six months, corroborate the experts’ claim. The research has showed that high tables, where employees stood at, increased the labor productivity on 46% in comparison with colleagues who sat at the desks all day long. Plus, the first group sat about 1.6 hours less per day. And it is known that a sedentary life-style has an extremely negative influence on health. About 75% of the people who worked at the high standing desks, felt less pain in the back and neck, reported improvement of general physical state of health and weight loss.

Let us remind, lately, another group of researchers has shown that the reduction of duration of stay in a sitting position in 71 minutes per day increases the lifetime of office workers.
