Allerginol Plus is a fixed combination of two components, such as antihistamine – levocetirizine dihydrochloride 5 mg, and leukotriene receptor antagonist – montelukast 10 mg, used to reduce symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and rhinitis in patients with asthma as well.

Montelukast, included in the composition of Allerginol Plus, inhibits the physiological effect of LTD4 on CysLT1 receptors, reducing the symptoms such as bronchospasm, sputum production, vascular permeability and increased eosinophil count.

Levocetirizine, included in the composition of Allerginol Plus, powerfully and selectively inhibits H1-histamine receptors, reducing allergy symptoms within 1 hour after taking the drug.

The safety and efficacy of the fixed combination of montelukast and levocetirizine in patients with seasonal allergic rhinitis have been demonstrated in numerous clinical trials. This was the reason for doctors to recommend Allerginol plus to patients in order to reduce the symptoms of seasonal perennial allergic rhinitis, including those with bronchial asthma.

Allerginol Plus is approved for use in adults and children over 15 years of age after consulting your doctor, 1 tablet once a day in the evening, regardless of food intake. The course of treatment is 14 days*.
