Urological diseases are quite common among the population today. This is due to a number of factors, primarily environmental factors, unhealthy diet, physical inactivity, and constant stress.

One of the most common urological diseases is urolithiasis, also known as kidney stone disease. It is a disease characterised by the formation of stones in the urinary system.

Urolithiasis is of high social significance, as about 55% of patients report a significant impairment of quality of life, especially during disease exacerbations. Additionally, it should be noted that this condition often recurs, necessitating the use of preventive methods.

Therefore, the treatment of urolithiasis is an important task of modern medicine.

The project addressed topical issues related to the diagnosis and treatment of urological diseases among a diverse audience of medical professionals, including urologists, nephrologists, sexopathologists, family doctors, and others.

Dmitry Vladimirovich Shchukin, MD, PhD, Professor, made a presentation on modern principles of urolithiasis prevention. The expert covered in detail the etiological factors and the role of dietary nutrition in the prevention of urolithiasis. The speaker paid special attention to the peculiarities of using the modern remedy Nokamen in urolithiasis.

Nokamen is a complex herbal and mineral product, which includes components with various properties, including litholytic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and nephroprotective effects.
