Nail lacquer

Composition: isopropyl alcohol, dichloromethane, ciclopirox (8%), purified water, eudragit RL PO, eudragit RS PO.

Properties.

Ciclopirox has antifungal and antibacterial effects. The pronounced antifungal effect of ciclopirox is due to its activity against the main pathogens found in fungal nail infections: dermatophytes (Trichophyton, Microsporum canis, Epidermophyton), Candida yeasts, moulds.

The mechanism of antifungal action of ciclopirox is associated with the penetration of the active substance into the nail plate within 6 hours after application of the nail polish and inhibition of the supply of vital substances to the cells. Long-term use does not reduce the effectiveness.

Recommendations for use. Ciclo 200 nail lacquer is recommended for use in case of fungal nail infections.

Method of application and dosage. Before starting the application, it is recommended to remove the free (distal) edge of the affected nails with nail clippers, nail file or nail scissors.

Ciclo 200 nail lacquer is applied to the affected nail in a thin layer with a special brush during the first month every other day, in the second month - twice a week, in the third month - once a week. The nail plate should be completely covered with nail lacquer.

Once a week, use nail polish remover to remove the residue of Ciclo 200, as this may impede the penetration of the active ingredient in the long term. It is recommended to remove the free edge of the affected nails at the same time.

The application of the nail lacquer should be continued until the nail plate is completely restored from a clinical and mycological point of view. The term of use is usually 6 to 12 months.

When used in combination with systemic antifungal agents, the duration of nail recovery is significantly reduced.

Precautions for use. Prolonged use of the nail lacquer may cause the symptoms of sensitisation (hypersensitivity), resulting in undesirable effects. In such cases, you should stop using the product and consult your doctor.

Release form. 5 ml of lacquer in a flask. 1 flask in a carton.

Shelf-life. 24 month. 3 months once opened.

Storage conditions. Store in a dry place protected from light at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Store in an upright position.
